Fonts
All fonts must be included when submitting files for
print. Send both screen and printer fonts used in
your document and in your graphic files, including those in
embedded art files. Licensing restricts us
from copying a font from a previous job or document. Do not
use any System Fonts in page layout
documents or art files. Use the actual font’s typeface
for bold or italic text. Do not stylize fonts to bold
or italic within the program’s own measurement palette.
Note: Font substitution may result in incorrect
line endings and/or line lengths.
Supporting
graphics
All supporting or linked graphics/artwork must be
included when submitting files for print,
including embedded art files. Do not apply overprinting
strokes or fills, as we have an automated trapping solution.
Scans
Art to be scanned should be clearly labeled with size and
color requirements.
Scan continuous tone images at 300 dpi and line art at 1200
dpi. Scans should have a 2% highlight dot,
85% shadow dot and a 35-45% dot in the midtones. Imaging will
be done with a 150 lines per inch
screen. Maximum 4-color densities: 260% uncoated, 280% matte,
300% gloss.
For optimum results, save your Photoshop scan files in .eps
or tiff format.
Colors
All files should be in CMYK format on the front side and black
& white on the back side.
